Scripture of the Day - November 9, 2012

Hebrews 12:15  Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you.

Bitterness is not godliness. It does not bring contentment, rather it brings trouble... trouble to your spirit, to your mind and even to your physical body. Bitterness slowly erodes your well-being. Often, people don't realize what is taking place. Life has dealt them a nasty blow and they feel quite justified in their bitterness so they feed that bitterness and won't let it go. Our self will can be our greatest enemy. Submit your will to God, seek His ways and you will find contentment.
