Scripture of the Day - October 2, 2012

John 2:5  His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

I read this scripture in The Ballestero Blog and was struck with the simplicity of Mary's instruction, 'whatever he says to you, do it.'  If you want the miracle, do what He says. If you want the blessing, do what He says. If you want God's favor, do what He says. It's really very simple but we tend to complicate things. We brush aside scripture that we don't like, we follow after vain traditions and philosophies of man. We start to rationalize...well He doesn't really mean this...He doesn't really expect us to do that...and my pet peeve... that's not for today!
It seems we do everything except what Jesus says to do. 
Folks, if you want God's favor, if you want His blessings, if you need a miracle in your life, stop making excuses and JUST DO WHAT HE SAYS!
