Scripture of the Day - May 31, 2012

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness...

Many people think they have to straighten out their lives before they turn to God. But the opposite is true.
In Exodus chapter 25 God gave instructions for the building of the tabernacle. He let them know what they were to bring as offering and He let them know that they were to give it willingly with his heart. God wants your heart, not your perfection. He will perfect you!
The very first article they were instructed to build was the Ark of the Covenant. This was where the mercy seat of God was, this is where the testimony of God was going to be, this is where God was going to show His presence and commune with His people.
Each one of us is a vessel where God's Spirit can dwell. The mercy of God can dwell in us. The testimony of God can dwell in us. The presence of God can dwell in us but we must empty ourselves and seek after HIS righteousness.
When the people did what God instructed He showed His presence. When we do what we're instructed God will show His presence in our lives as well. Seek God first...

Scripture of the Day - May 30, 2012

James 5:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Faith in God is the stabilizer of life. Paul urged us to "be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried away with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive."
James compares a person without faith as a wave of the sea driven by the wind. A wave can't stay in one place... it surges forward and recedes back, it rises and falls; and foaming, it surges wildly onto the shore. If the wind is strong enough the waves can cause great damage.
What a vivid description of a doubting soul. Rushing forward on impulse then receding back when they don't see results. They are up they are down. They surge wildly, crashing on the rocky shores of life only to sink in the undertow of that very same life. Oh yes, a double minded man is unstable in ALL his ways. James 1:8 driven and tossed.

Folks, we need to be anchored to the Rock of Ages. We need to stabilize ourselves in Jesus. We need to trust Him and have faith in Him. Only then can we stand against the storms of life and not be tossed about.

Scripture of the Day - May 29, 2012

Mark 4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Many people hear the Word of God yet they ignore it. They are told of the gospel of Jesus yet they refuse to follow Him.
Why? Because the cares of this world are more important to them. They are wrapped up in their lives and have no time for God. They have no desire to know what God has to say. "Sorry, I'm just not interested" they say. Their eyes are blinded and they can only see so far. They cling to their present lives thinking 'this is everything'. Whether they are on top of the world or in the gutter, whether they are surrounded by friends or live a lonely existence, they are afraid to let go. They cling to what they know and refuse to let the Word grow in their lives. What a sad state to be in.

Scripture of the Day - May 28, 2012

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

In hell?! What did the rich man do to end up in hell? Did he murder? Did he steal? No. The question should be, "what did he NOT do?" People go about their lives ignoring God, building little kingdoms for themselves here on earth and still expect to enter heaven. God wants a relationship with us, He expects a relationship with us. He has explained very clearly what we must do to enter heaven and if we ignore His instructions we will not enter in. It's as simple as that. Nothing in this world is worth ignoring your relationship with your creator, your heavenly father, the lover of your soul.

Scripture of the Day - May 27, 2012

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

People often ask why is there so much pain and suffering in the world? And they wonder why does God allow this?
What they don't realize is that pain is a symptom that something is wrong. If you have pain in your body you know something is wrong and if you have any sense at all you will do something about it.
Pain in our lives, in our society, is likewise a symptom that something is wrong. That something is sin and if you had any sense at all you will do something about it.
There is so much pain and suffering in the world because mankind will not listen to God. It's not God's fault, it's our fault. But we don't want to take responsibility so we point the finger at God and blame Him.
You can blame the doctor all you want for the pain in your body but unless you do something about it you will continue to have pain. Likewise, you can blame God all you want for the pain and suffering in your life, in this world, but unless you do something about your sin you will continue to have pain and suffering.

Psalm 107: 29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

When you are anchored in Jesus you can weather any storm. He is the firm foundation which cannot be moved. Though you may be tossed about for a while never loose yourself from the anchor of your soul. He WILL calm the storm and still the waves. He WILL bring you to your desired haven. Keep your focus on Him and remind yourself of His promises. Think on His goodness and praise Him for it.

31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness...

Scripture of the Day - May 23, 2012

Psalm 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me...

David new it wasn't his own grace that perfected him, he knew his faith was not so strong that he would never waiver, he knew that his love wasn't so warm that it could never grow cold, he knew that his determination wasn't so firm that nothing could move him. He knew that it wasn't in him but in God that he would be perfected. He had confidence in the Lord alone. He depended on the Lord alone.
If we indulge in any confidence which is not grounded in Jesus Christ, our confidence is worse than a dream...a dream at least will just fade...but we will certainly perish if our confidence is based on anything else save Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. We can never be too confident when we confide in HIM alone, only when we confide in ourselves should we be concerned.
David was wise, he rested upon the Lord's work. It is the Lord who has begun the good work within us; it is HE who has carried it on; and if HE does not finish it, it never will be complete. This is our confidence, the Lord who began will perfect. He has done it all, must do it all, and will do it all. Our confidence must not be in what we have done, nor in what we have determined to do, but entirely in what the Lord will do. Our faith must be in the Rock of ages.

Scripture of the Day - May 22, 2012

Genesis 16:9 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

Hagar had done what so many of us do...she ran from her troubles. Sarah was treating her harshly and she couldn't take it any more so she ran. The Lord spoke to her and told her to go back and submit herself. Why? Why would God send her back into that nasty situation? Who knows...but if you go further back in that story you will see that Hagar had gotten a little full of herself and treated Sara with contempt.
Often times we create our own trouble and sometimes we don't...but either way running is not the answer. God wants us to stand strong in the battle...He never tells us to run, rather to stand fast and fight the good fight. There were always grave consequences to those who ran and those stories are in the Bible as an example for us not to run.
If we submit our will to HIS we will be able to overcome anything! If we march ahead in our own self-will ignoring God's plea to submit we will march straight into troubles that are far worse than what we are running from. Do it God's way, He is much easier to follow.

Scripture of the Day - May 21, 2012

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

I gave a friend the name of a prominent natural health doctor so she could look at some of his product. When she googled his name she came up with all sorts of negative sites regarding him so she called me with her concerns. I googled his name and did not end up on the same page as her. The difference is, she added the word "quack" and of course came across all sorts of sites that criticized him.
Many people do that to God. They look at Him with a tainted view, because their hearts are darkened. They imagine negative things about Him and blame Him for all that is wrong in the world. They don't glorify Him as God and they are not thankful for all He has done, partly because they are too vain in their imaginations and therefore blinded to His goodness.
This natural health doctor gets a lot of criticism because he fights against the big pharmaceutical companies, he goes against the status quo. When Jesus walked the earth He went against the status quo too and was hated for it. Those who follow after Him are also criticized and hated because they don't blend in and go with the flow of this world.
But rejoice oh saint of God if you are hated for His name's sake. God will bless you for standing strong for Him. Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

Scripture of the Day - May 20, 2012

1 Kings 19:4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life...

Elijah was spooked by Jezebel. She had threatened to have him killed so he ran for his life. He didn't know what to do, he could see no way out of this mess so he just wanted to die.
It's a good thing God doesn't answer all our prayers as we wish it. Sometimes, when we are at the end of our rope, we wish for things that would destroy us. How often do we ask amiss? How often do we ask, not knowing what God has planned? How often do we ask doubting, therefore not receiving an answer.
God is not a genie in a bottle, at our disposal to grant our every wish. How spoiled of us to think so. If we want to be able to ask anything in His name and have Him answer then we have to be connected to the vine and pray according to the Spirit. We can't pray contrary to the Spirit, as we are want to do, and expect God to do our will. Remember, it's HIS will that shall be done on earth as it is in heaven! Let's pray for that and see what God will do.

Scripture of the Day - May 19, 2012

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

We are complete in Him! All the qualities of Christ are at our disposal to complete us. Yoke yourself to Jesus... to His grace that gives us a second chance, to His mercy that is our consolation, to His faithfulness that will never let us go, to His knowledge that gives us wisdom from above, to His power that protects us.
In His unfathomable love He is no respecter of persons. He is calling whosoever will answer. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord,Ps 33:5 why don't you taste and see that the Lord is good. Ps 34:8

Scripture of the Day - May 18, 2012

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse...

The complexity of nature itself shows there is an intelligent designer...this great earth we live in did not come about by chance and chaos. The intricate structure of our DNA did not evolve from a single cell. I ask you, where did that first cell come from...the rock that formed the earth before life began? No, of course not! They are without excuse that believe such things. Their foolish hearts are darkened. They have purposely taken God out of the picture are replaced Him with foolishness.
God has created all things for His pleasure. We ought to acknowledge that and turn to the One who created us.

Scripture of the Day - May 17, 2012

Isaiah 5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Referring to the atheist...they have no point of reference for morality, hence the confusion in the world today. Even one of their own says that "pure practical reason, even with a good knowledge of the facts, will not take you to morality." You see, pure physics and chemistry take away purpose and with no purpose how can you define good from evil? What is the point of reference? They have none! They do what is right in their own eyes. Truth is now relative, morality is now relative...and we are now in the bloodiest century of all time.
We NEED a point of reference. We NEED God. The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. Let's not be foolish. let's not be wise in our own eyes and prudent in our own sight.

Scripture of the Day - May 16, 2012

Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Science is limited. It can't answer the simple question of life...where did we come from? They ascribe creation to abstract laws of nature but they can't tell us where those laws come from. There is a book written with the most appropriate title...I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist.
I'm glad I know where I came from, and it certainly wasn't from a monkey! A loving God created the first man and breathed into him the breath of life so he became a living soul and we've been reproducing after this kind ever since. And that, dear friends, my soul knows right well!!
God created us to have a relationship with. Don't turn your back on Him. Take the time to get to know Him. He truly is a marvelous God.

Scripture of the Day - May 15, 2012

Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men...

Who do you want to please? What is your focus? Are you more concerned with what men think or with what God thinks? You will frustrate yourself to no end trying to please people, you can't please everyone, someone is bound to be unhappy with what you do. Not only that...the rewards of man-pleasers will burn up one day, but the rewards of God-pleasers are for eternity.
The ironic thing is, that in pleasing God, you will inevitably please man. We just have to get our priorities in order.

I read this somewhere...
If you wish to be disappointed look to others.
If you wish to be disheartened look at yourself.
If you wish to be encouraged look to JESUS!

Scripture of the Day - May 14, 2012

1 Corinthians 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

More...bigger...better...that's the way we tend to think. But God doesn't think that way. He wants to get to the heart of the matter. He will judge us according to our MOTIVE, more than according to how much we produce. The Greek for SORT means QUALITY not quantity. So search yourself and find out your motives because it's only the quality that will last.

Scripture of the Day - May 13, 2012

John 19:26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
John 19:27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

It's amazing that as Jesus hung on the cross in excruciating agony, with the weight of the world on His shoulders, He considered the future of His mother. He knew she would have to be taken care of and he made sure she would be in good hands.
For Mary, being the mother of Jesus was bittersweet. The agony of watching life ebb out of her son as He hung on the cross far outweighed the joys of raising Him as a child. Her heart was heavy like lead. Sorrow swept over her like a flood, yet the deepest love carried her through. She dared not fall apart, she could not break in front of Him as he suffered so. She held strong for Him. Her love for Him and the love she felt from Him held her together.
The love of a mother comes second only to the love of God. And love will carry you through anything. Love conquers all.

Scripture of the Day - May 12, 2012

Psalm 30:1 A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

When you have a heart that follows after God, when you are one of His, then no weapon formed against you shall prosper. People will come against you but they will not win. In fact, what they try to do to you will come back to bite them and they will be far from rejoicing.
The enemy might come in like a flood and you may seem overwhelmed at times but remember that God is your shield and your protection. He will guard and watch over you because you are the apple of His eye, you are precious to Him and He is jealous over you. He will not share you with the enemy. Trust God, have faith in Him. Your faith is your shield...never put it down.

Scripture of the Day - May 11, 2012

Genesis 29:20 And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.

Jacob's love for Rachel was so strong, so full, that working for seven years to win her hand in marriage seem but a few days. To Jacob it was well worth it. he would have worked as long as Laban demanded. Jacob wasn't going to argue or fuss because his love for Rachel kept his eyes on the prize that he would win one day.
How long do we have to toil here on this earth before we join in the marriage supper of the Lamb? How long before we win our prize of being with our Lord in heaven? We don't know, but our love for Jesus should be so strong that our time here seems like a vapor. Our love for Jesus should be so full that we will do whatever is demanded of us to be with Him.
Let's not fuss, and let's not get sidetracked with the cares of this world, be them pleasurable or painful. We must keep our eyes focused and let our love for our precious Savior grow stronger every day.

Scripture of the Day - May 10, 2012

Deuteronomy 13:4  Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

God expects us to prove our love for Him and this is how He wants us to prove it. Walk after Him, that is follow Him as He leads you. Fear Him, that is honor Him, give Him the respect He is due. Keep His commandments, that is to guard and to heed His commandments. Obey His voice, that is do what He tells you to do. Serve Him, that is work for Him, spread the gospel. Cleave to Him, that is stay close to Him, don't wander away, looking to other gods.
Jesus said John 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments. It's easy to say 'I love you' but what do your actions show? Your actions show how you really feel.
Peter showed His love for God. He listened and obeyed even when it went against what he thought, and look at the result, Cornelius and his household were saved.
Do you love God? Then prove it and you will see the wonderful things God has in store for you.

Scripture of the Day - May 9, 2012

Acts 10:9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour...

If we want God to speak to us we have to be where we will listen. Cornelius had sent his men to fetch Peter but God needed to prepare Peter for the what he was about to encounter. (you can read the whole story yourself in Acts 10) If Peter had not gone up on the rooftop to pray He would not have received God's message and would not have gone to this gentile house, and these people would not have heard the gospel. That's a whole lot of nots!
Folks, how many times do we miss out on opportunities because we are not where we have to be in order to hear God? We are too busy running to and fro in our daily activities to take the time to listen to our heavenly Father, thus we are like chickens with their heads cut off...running aimlessly.

Acts 10:10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance...

Sometimes we have to put off taking care of our physical needs and take care of our spiritual needs first. Often God will wait till we are at our weakest before He will deal with us. Unfortunately, He has to do this to get our attention.
Have you ever tried to talk to someone who was preoccupied with something else? It's pointless. The preoccupied one often misses out on the details of what you are saying, only getting the bare gist of it. This is dangerous as it can bring misunderstanding to dizzy heights and the higher you fall from the harder the landing.
If you want to soar like the eagle you have to be held by God. Exodus 19:4 I bare you on eagles‘ wings, and brought you unto myself. You have to trust in God. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.Don't lean on your own understanding, put God first and make time to listen to Him.

Scripture of the Day - May 8, 2012

Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

When the pressures of life bear down on you, what do you do? When the storms are raging around you, what do you do? When your heart is heavy because people in your life let you down, what do you do?
Things under pressure need to be released in the right way or they will explode. Ships on the stormy ocean need to find shelter so they are not tossed about. And there is a saying "If you wish to be disappointed look to others, if you wish to be disheartened look at yourself, if you wish to be encouraged look to JESUS."
We need time alone with God, we need to plug into His power to charge ourselves to fight the daily battles of life. We need to encourage ourselves in the Lord and to do that we need time alone with Him.

Scripture of the Day - May 7, 2012

Psalm 3:4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

Are you hurting, are you in the midst of a trial, are the storms of life raging around you? Call upon your Savior, the lover of your soul. He WILL hear you for He hears the cry of his people that He has set apart for Himself. He is your shield of protection and He is your weapon against your enemy. You can lay your head down and sleep soundly while your God is keeping watch over you. You can wake in safety because God is your guard. You can rejoice because He blesses the righteous with favor!

Scripture of the Day - May 6, 2012

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

We can't get away from it. Just by living on this planet we are under some set of laws, physical and spiritual. We can deny it all we want but it doesn't take away the law and the effect of the law.
Let's take the law of gravity. As much as we might deny gravity it is still going to have it's effect on us. No amount of human reason is going to take away the fact that what goes up must come down. And while we may find it a nuisance at times, gravity works to our benefit.
Let's take the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. As much as humanity might deny it we are free only in Jesus Christ. Without Him we are under the law of sin and death. No amount of human reasoning is going to change that. The wages of sin is death and that's that. And while we might find it a nuisance at times to not do as we please, Jesus Christ works to our benefit because the gift of God is eternal life, and the nuisance we have to put up with here can't compare to the glory that will be revealed to us when we reach heaven. We, in our humanity, can't even imagine the splendor God has in store for us.
Like a child anticipates Christmas morning we ought to set our affection on things above and seek after them.

Scripture of the Day - May 5, 2012

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

God is not going to fill you if you are already full. If you want God's blessings you have to be hungry for them, you have to be thirsty for them.
So many people, even Christians, live their lives void of the blessings of God because they are too full of the junk of this world. Junk that may seem oh so important, junk that may bring a season of pleasure, junk that may give you a temporary high, but it will never truly satisfy and it will never bring you through the rough times.
We are living in an age where junk food is prevalent, and so readily available. It appeals to our taste buds and is easier to prepare than nutritional food. It is even cheaper than nutritional foods. Tasty, cheap and easy...what a trap we fall into. The consequences of this trap are becoming glaringly obvious to this generation with so many diseases like obesity and diabetes reaching epidemic proportions, and we are trying desperately to correct this downward spiral.
We are living in a age where junk spiritualism is prevalent too. It appeals to our carnal nature and is easier to follow after than God's righteousness. Folks, don't fall into that trap... the consequences are far greater...all you have to do is look at the world today for the evidence of junk spiritualism. BUT, the greatest consequence comes when we leave this world... it's a consequence of which there is no correction, it's final.
What do you hunger for? What do you thirst for? Hunger for God's righteousness and you will be filled. Thirst for God and you will never thirst again. You will be satisfied, more than you can imagine.

Scripture of the Day - May 4, 2012

Acts 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

Who do you think you should listen to...God or the peer pressure of this world? The apostles were under the same pressure. They had just healed a man in the NAME OF JESUS. The Pharisees couldn't deny the miracle but let's just look at their response...Acts 4:16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it. 17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. 18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
They could not deny the miracle. The miracle didn't bother them. It was the NAME OF JESUS that bothered them. That same spirit is in the world today. It hates the name of Jesus.
So I ask, should we listen to the peer pressure of this world instead of God? And I will answer, of course not!

Scripture of the Day - May 3, 2012

John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Some people wonder why we United Pentecostals put such emphasis on the name of Jesus and here is the reason...that believing YE MIGHT HAVE LIFE THROUGH HIS NAME.
That's why we baptize in HIS NAME, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, neither is there salvation in any other! Acts 4:12.
We revere HIS NAME because God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth... Phil. 2:9-10
We understand that there is power in HIS NAME because the apostles healed in the NAME OF JESUS...In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:6-7
So is there any wonder that we should put such emphasis on His NAME?

Scripture of the Day - May 2, 2012

1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you...

It was Jesus Christ who shed His blood for you to pay your penalty for your sin. There is nothing in this entire world that we could do to pay our own penalty, no good deeds will ever be enough. Our human goodness cannot even scratch the surface of God's goodness. How vain of us to think so!
I was in a store yesterday and overheard a very young boy telling his father what he thought of things. It was very comical to hear. The little guy was so matter of fact, thinking what he said was absolutely the way things are. In his little mind he had things all figured out. The father chuckled at his young son saying, "oh you think so do you", but a few times had to correct him and once had to chastise him for getting a little too loud in his declarations.
We are like that little boy with regard to God and our lives. We think we have things all figured without factoring God into the equation at all. But how limited is our view! How much we don't understand and how utterly vain to think we can carry on without God.
He laid the foundation of this world and before he even did that he had our redemption all planned out. He knows the beginning and the end. Nothing is hidden from Him. He is a God of love but He is also a God of righteous judgement. Lay your foundation on Jesus Christ, so you can endure to the end.

Scripture of the Day - May 1, 2012

1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

The ONLY sure and lasting foundation in this entire world is Jesus Christ. Everything mankind has built will burn up one day and the only thing that can withstand is Jesus because He is creator of all things Col 1:16 and has laid the foundation of the earth...even the heavens are the work of His hands. Heb. 1:10
Why then would we want to follow the vain traditions of man? Why would we want to listen to the philosophies of this world?
Listen to your creator calling you. Don't turn you ear from Him. He loves you with an everlasting love and wants to give you the gift of eternal life in heaven. Why would you say no to that wonderful gift?
