Scripture of the Day - February 11, 2012

1 Peter 5:5 ... Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

God wants to work with us and mold us into a perfect vessel, but He cannot do that if we are not pliable in His hands. This means that if we are too proud to allow God to work in our lives He will not force Himself on us. But those of us who allow Him...God can do miracles in our lives. If we humble ourselves and surrender our will to His will ANYTHING can happen.

Do you feel distant and disconnected from God? Do you feel numb and are just going through the motions?
Are you perhaps frustrated in your Christian walk? Do you feel that everything is coming against you?

If you've answered yes to either of these questions then perhaps you need to do some soul searching. Perhaps you need to see if there is an area in your life where you are not allowing God to lead area in your life where you are not surrendering to God. God will not work with pride but if you humble yourself to Him, He will give you grace and work His power in your life.
