Scripture of the Day - September 6, 2012

Hebrews 13:17  Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Ooooh, here's a command that we don't particular, the word submit. We are are society that does not like the idea of submitting. It's our way or no way. But God is not impressed with that attitude at all. He expects us to submit one to another and to watch out for each other. Those who continuously strive with their leaders, and constantly cause trouble are walking a dangerous path. They may have their way for now but they will not profit, God will take vengeance on that attitude.  Romans 12:19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
